3.0.* time!!
May 15th, 2008State of the add-ons report is coming a little late this week — because we are on the verge of RC1. Once RC1 is out, it is time to test and update to 3.0.* on AMO. Right now, a lot of our major add-ons are not considered ready for Firefox 3, because they are not marked as compatible with 3.0 or 3.0.*.
I’ve updated our compatibility chart to reflect this move. We will give those developers a few days to update, before publishing the next state of the add-ons report.
If you were one of those developers that told me, “I’ll update when 3.0 is available on AMO”, now is the time! Go go go!

It looks like the chart is marking 3.0pre extensions as “other” (purple). I presume these would be in the same category as “3.0b[1,2,3,4,5]*” (light-green).
