Mate, give Redhat and Novell a buzz. It’s worth a shot. Just talk to them and tell them about what you’ve done, what you want to bring to this awesome conference and more.
Another idea is that Linux Australia gives out grants. Get on the mailing list or send an email to Lindsay or Pia or anyone else on the organisers committee.
